Myburgerlab & Insidescoop
2018
Burger & ice cream a common American food staples, typical in American diners’ menu. The design reintroduces a classic American diners experience with a feature unique to diner architecture. From the 1920s to the 1940s, diners, by then commonly known as "lunch cars", were usually prefabricated in factories like modern mobile
eat-outs. Hence the design takes inspiration for this. Neon sign trim exudes momentary nostalgic, retro style features also found in the various form of component throughout the eatery. The renewed interest in diners can be attributed to looking backwards for inspiration resulting in a stylistic and inspirational interior.
